UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS -- The UI's student-run newspaper is dealing with real world changes. Students are stopping the presses for Friday editions; so they'll only put out a print version four days a week.

The group used to print 50,000 papers five days a week. Now, it does closer to 10,00. But, the paper gets 63,000 clicks on its website in the same amount of time, so they're turning their focus online.

DI editor-in-chief Darshan Patel says they still plan to have new articles online during the weekend. He says it's good practice for what it will be like to have a job in the communications industry someday.
