CHAMPAIGN -- The bank is getting a run for its money with a digital form of payment.
It's called crypto-currency. Bitcoin is one form of it. It's all online so it's not physical.
The money can be exchanged through a phone without needing a bank. Some believe it's as safe as the U.S. dollar. One cryptopreneur thinks everyone can find its value.
"The neat thing about it is, now we can move money easier around the world. In the past, it's hard to move money. You know, banks are still moving money, but they're using different systems that take days and they're costing lots of fees," says Keith Bliss.
Bliss says people should get educated if they're interested and those who like to invest should try it out. He adds, information about crypto-currency can be found online.
