CHAMPAIGN -- He's been the director of the Illinois Fire Service Institute for 15-years, but now he's stepping down. Dozens honored Richard Jaehne Friday.

After more than a decade of work, he's retiring. Throughout his time at the institute, he built partnerships all over the world, serving on the terrorism task force and working closely with FEMA. Jaehne says he plans on spending his free time with his grandchildren and relaxing with his wife.
