DANVILLE -- School bus workers have a new contract. Drivers, mechanics and bus monitors agreed to the four-year deal after turning down the contract offered last month.

The pay is retroactive to August 15. That's when the previous contract expired.

Workers will also get a pay raise. The school district contracts with First Student to provide transportation for about 4,000 students.
