TOLONO -- School officials are telling parents of Unity High School students not to worry. A student was sent home with the mumps, but district leaders say it's an isolated incident. A letter was sent home to parents Monday.

The student came down with the illness even after having received a vaccination. Doctors say it's rare, but does happen. If more than five students get the mumps, a booster shot will be given.
