Each year, they put together backpacks full of school supplies and give them to kids in need. They say with rising costs of school supplies, parents need help.
"A lot of the parents really can't afford to buy stuff for the kids," said Heavenly Seven president Augustus Johnson. "We just said, 'well, maybe we can do something to help the parents.'"
Last year they gave away more than 300 book-bags. This year, they want to give more including to high school students.
