Many residents did not return home until they began storm clean up early Tuesday morning. Now some hope to put their lives back together. But, many do not have insurance or savings to cover the cost. One resident says many people might not move back.
"I couldn't image not having insurance right now," said Penny Rutherford. "I mean, this is the second time in what, seven years we're hit? You got to pay that extra, even if you can't afford it. No matter which way you turn there's tears because people don't know what to do."
Many people are certain they saw a tornado pass through here, but the National Weather Service in Lincoln says the devastation was from 60 - 70 mph winds passing through at the time. The NWS says it was a downburst, not a tornado.
