CHAMPAIGN -- Some people worry two construction projects could cause a traffic nightmare. Work on the Windsor Road bridge is set to start April 1. The city is installing ramps and sidewalks.

Construction on the Kirby Avenue bridge started Monday. Traffic has been backed up because of it. City officials say not to worry.

Both roads won't be closed at the same time. Kirby Avenue is ahead of schedule and set to be finished by next weekend.

Even if there's a delay, Windsor Road work won't start until Kirby is finished. That work will last until August.
