CHARLESTON -- Eastern Illinois University is "greener" these days. It's thanks to a new research center on campus. The new Center for Clean Energy Research and Education is a place for students to get hands-on experience in physics, chemistry and technology. They can also look for new ways to use wood chips from next door at the Renewable Energy Center.
