CHAMPAIGN COUNTY -- First responders want more help when there's a crisis, and you can fill that gap. The Emergency Management Agency is looking for volunteers from the community.

This video is from a June 29 search-and-rescue in Urbana. Volunteers could help find missing people or take action after a natural disaster. EMA leaders say the more, the merrier.

Thirty people are already on the crew of volunteers. Some of them will even help Douglas County during a training program this weekend.
