CLINTON -- The EPA has said "no" to the owners of the Clinton Landfill. It's based on the state's ruling two weeks ago. It reinforces banning PCB's and certain chemicals being dumped there.

Landfill owners had been waiting for seven years for the federal EPA to approve their request to dump. The landfill sits above the Mahomet Aquifer where three-quarters of a million people get their water.

CLINTON -- Not everyone agrees with the governor's decision to stop putting PCB's in the Clinton Landfill. The owners say they will appeal the decision. They want a review of the governor's ban. The landfill did stop accepting manufactured gas plant waste Friday.
