Farmers & scientists meet for long-time tradition

UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS -- It's a long-time tradition at UI. Thursday was Agronomy Day. The event has been going on since 1953.

Farmers get a chance to met with agricultural scientists at the university. They look at new technology and new methods when it comes to growing corn and soy.

There are tours, booths and displays. People come from around the state for the event.
