Female Illinois Marathon winner strives to race in every state

CHAMPAIGN-URBANA -- The first-place female finisher of this year's Illinois Marathon has an amazing goal. Camille Herron from Oklahoma ran the marathon in 2:45:48.

She says it's still not good enough for her. She's coming back next year to try and set a course record.

Herron said she wants to win a marathon in every state. She's won nine so far.

"I want to get the course record. I ran 2:37 in the marathon, so I was not feeling as great today but I'd like to come back next year," said Herron, "Hopefully I'll do a little better and get the course record."

No rest for Herron. She's headed to Nebraska next Saturday to knock another state off her map.
