BLOOMINGTON -- One person was stabbed and two police officers hurt after a fight got out of control. Police were called to a Denny's restaurant last week. They found several hundred people gathered in the parking lot, and a number of people fighting.

Employees asked officers to remove the fighters and their parties from the premises. One person was stabbed in the midst of the fight. The victim ran past police without reporting the incident, and did not wish to pursue charges.

As the police were clearing the mob, a woman allegedly attacked an officer with a closed fist. The crowd became aggressive with police, which led to a call for emergency assistance from all officers in the area.

They used pepper spray to disperse the crowd. The woman who attacked the officer was identified as Gabriella Calhoun. She was arrested for aggravated battery to an officer and resisting arrest.
