RANTOUL -- Firefighters saved a building from going up in flames. It happened on Grove Street Saturday afternoon. Crews say, when they got there, smoke and flames were coming from a pole. They opened up the roof and found papers stuffed inside.

There was a firewall separating the area from the rest of the building. Officials say they had to call Thomasboro in to help put out the blaze. No one was hurt. Authorities are investigating what caused the papers to catch fire.
