ST. JOSEPH -- A little change is going a long way to help a family. The fire department held its annual Fill the Boot MDA Drive.

Cars pulled up and dropped off cash to help the cause. All the money helps local families whose children suffer from muscular dystrophy.

Jordan Schrock is from St. Joe. Thanks to donations, he gets to go to MDA's Summer Camp. His mother says it's his favorite time of year.

The drive raised more than $2,100 last year. Organizers hope for more this year. To help, take donations to the St. Joseph Fire Department.
