Flu cases falling with drop in temps

CENTRAL ILLINOIS -- There may be one good effect from all the cold weather. Doctors say the frigid temperatures have indirectly put a small freeze on the flu virus.

Usually, kids pass it along when they're together at school, but since so many have been staying home instead, hospitals are seeing fewer reports of flu activity. Those numbers could go back up once class is back in session.
