Former administrator seeks unpaid sick time from village

RANTOUL -- The city is in a dispute with a former administrator. It could cost the village thousands of dollars. Bruce Sandahl claims the village owes him for almost 600 hours of unpaid sick leave. It adds up to more than $40,000.

He's given the village until August 15 to make a decision. Sandahl was asked to step down in April. The board is expected to discuss the at Tuesday night's board meeting.
