A STEM- (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) focused education provides students with the necessary technical literacy to enable them to access exciting careers in the 21st century global economy. A brand-new state-of-the-art facility will provide a supportive environment for students while building cumulative competencies in science, technology, engineering and math.

The theme of this magnet school is Leadership in a MicroSociety. Students choose a method of governance and draft a constitution as well as participate in creating a business environment. Teachers help students with project-based and MicroSociety ventures emphasizing local and global issues affecting students' lives. The experience brings real-life business ventures and government agency activities to life while preparing students for college and professional careers.

International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (PYP) schools share a common philosophy; a commitment to high-quality, challenging and international education.
