DANVILLE -- Vermilion County's Sheriff's deputies are remembering one of their own after he was killed in a crash this week. 33-year old Christopher Williams was driving his motorcycle when a car hit him on Avenue G and Highway 150, in Danville.

Williams worked the second shift as a correctional officer at the Vermilion County Jail. The Danville-native had been working there since 2007. His co-workers say he was dedicated and he will be missed. Williams was also a member of the National Guard Reserve.
