Grade-schoolers win ChessFest!

CHAMPAIGN -- Some grade school students took home the top prize after a chess tournament this weekend. The team at Carrie Busey won first place at Sunday's ChessFest Competition.

Students from 23 different schools took part. The group here just started this year with about 20-students on the team.

One boy says it takes a lot of strategy to win big matches. Third-grader, Adit Kalsotra, says he likes playing against other students during after-school practices. He also won second place in his age group.

Kalsotra's dad taught him to play when he was six years old. He's beaten his dad a few times since then.
