Grant could help prevent future flooding

VILLA GROVE -- The city is preparing for flooding after receiving a $350,000 grant from FEMA. It will cover the cost of tearing down seven homes and the community building which are all in an area prone to flooding in the center of town. The lots will become city property. The project will start later this year.
