A student services center is being built right at the entrance of Parkland's campus.  Today school and state officials broke ground on the project.  It will be 113,000 square feet.  Inside will be bookstores, counseling services, places to eat and student lounges. Students say they are most excited about the food.
A construction start date has yet to be set.  The school hopes the center will be ready to use by Fall 2013.
