CHARLESTON - The Coles County Habitat for Humanity is teaming up with the Eastern Illinois University Campus chapter for the second time ever.  They are building a home for Renee Anthony and her son.  A home she helped design.
Today was the ground breaking ceremony.  "I am so grateful that I have all these people here to help out.  It's wonderful," said Renee Anthony.
She applied for the home five months ago but will have to wait longer for the home to be built.  She says she's excited to be a homeowner and relax in it with her son.
The home's blitz build begins on March 10.  It's a complete week of construction.
Eastern Illinois University students are giving up their spring break that week to help build the Anthony's home.
