CHAMPAIGN -- The Illinois EPA is holding a one-day household hazardous waste collection Saturday. It will be held at the News-Gazette Distribution Center. Traffic will enter at North Market & East Olympian.

Organizers say there hasn't been a collection event for hazardous waste since 2006. They expect a large response so people are encouraged to carpool, combine loads and prepare for wait times.
