Highest gas prices found in Illinois

CHICAGO -- Gas prices are set to drop, but it may not feel like it in Illinois. AAA says we're paying more for gas than anyone else in the country.

The average price per gallon in Illinois is $3.91. In Chicago, drivers are paying $4.32, the highest average in the continental U.S.

The good news is that AAA says drivers are likely to pay less this summer, with prices dropping to below $3.40 a gallon in most states by July.

More good news: April gas prices were at their lowest since 2010. West Texas crude is close to $93 a barrel on oil futures markets.
