URBANA -- Traffic will be rerouted Friday to make way for the Urbana High School Homecoming parade. Race Street will be closed between Iowa Street and Indiana Avenue from 1:00 pm until the parade begins at 3:00 pm. All traffic will open up as soon as the parade passes.

The parade will take a slightly different route due to construction. It starts on Race at Iowa and moves north to Elm Street. It then heads east on Elm to Vine, then south on Vine to Washington and west on Washington until it ends in the high school parking lot.
