BLOOMINGTON -- As luck would have it, a man who's been homeless for more than 30-years is now $50,000 richer. Dennis just won the Illinois Lottery's "Scrabble" scratch-off game.

He's played the lottery before, but never imagined a payout like this. While panhandling at a Circle K, Dennis says a driver handed him the ticket. After scratching it off, he could hardly believe his eyes. Neither could the clerk.

Dennis should get his check in 4 - 6 weeks. Since he doesn't have an address, he's having it sent to a friend's house. He plans to invest the money and remain homeless.
