He celebrated a lifetime of achievements with family and friends on his 89th birthday. Ingrum served in the Navy during World War II. He joined so he could go to college and ended up getting three degrees.
After that, he spent his whole life as an educator, eventually becoming superintendent. Ingrum says being so driven took a lot of sacrifice, dedication and hard work. He and his wife have been married 66-years. They have three children and three grandchildren.
