CLARK COUNTY -- Authorities had an unusual task Tuesday night. Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a rural home to rescue a horse.

The animal fell into a snow-covered pool and was up to its neck in zero-degree water. Crews were able to build a harness and lift it out. It's now being cared for by its owner and is doing okay.
