SPRINGFIELD -- House Speaker Michael Madigan will call a vote on pension reform later this month. The measure will not be a full scale reform.

The House will not deal with shifting costs of pensions for downstate teachers. Still, some lawmakers say it is a step in the right direction.

The Senate already passed the bill in May. It'll take a super-majority to pass in the House.
