WILMINGTON -- All eyes are on the Kankakee River in Northern Illinois. Ice jams are threatening homes and bringing flooding concerns. In Wilmington, huge chunks are right outside many people's homes.

Emergency officials say a sudden shift could force some of that ice on shore. It could also raise the river's level and damage homes. About 300 homes are at risk.
