CHAMPAIGN-URBANA -- Tim Shelton recently lost 100 pounds. He ran the half-marathon Saturday to keep the weight from creeping back.

His goal was to run the race in less than 2-hours. He did it just in time.

"It's really nice with everyone cheering for you," said Shelton, "it feels really good, to have so many people everywhere."

Tim says the best part of the Illinois Marathon is the positivity and energy.
