KEWANEE -- Another honor for Illinois. Kewanee has been named the Friendliest Town in America. It's in the northwest part of the state in Henry County.

Rand McNally's 2013 Best of the Road contest made the declaration. It says the town is full of good cheer, genuine courtesy and community service.

Two Illinois counties also made the list for other categories. Galesburg was ranked in the top five for Best Food. Quincy was voted top five for Most Beautiful.
