Jackson addresses son's illness

CHICAGO -- Reverend Jesse Jackson spoke out about his son's medical condition Wednesday. He says his son is under medical supervision and is regaining his strength.

It's the latest attempt to combat rumors about Jesse Jackson, Jr.'s, mystery medical issues. The U.S. Representative has been on a leave of absence from congress since June 10.

Initially, his office said he was being treated for exhaustion. But, last week, it released a statement saying Jackson's illness was more serious than first believed. Some members of congress are now calling on Jackson to offer up more details to his constituents.
