SPRINGFIELD -- Families with loved ones at the Jacksonville Developmental Center made a final plea to Governor Quinn. Wednesday, relatives met with a representative from his office.

They shared concerns about his decision to move residents to group homes. They say it's too dangerous and could be deadly for some.

Quinn's office says its goal is to improve the quality of life for those living with developmental disabilities. Residents will continue to transition to community-based settings.
