Kidnapper sentenced to 10 years

URBANA -- An Indiana man was sentenced to ten years in federal prison for kidnapping a Champaign girl last year. In January, 22-year old Nicholas Hurley pleaded guilty to taking the minor across states to have sex with her. In federal court Thursday, Hurley was sentenced for coercion or enticement of a minor female.

After he's released from prison, he's subject to ten years supervision and must register as a sex offender. Police say, in September 2013, Hurley befriended 13-year old Cleo Younce who he met through a family friend. He convinced her to meet him and the pair fled the area to Missouri. Authorities say they were found at a Walmart in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the day after Cleo's disappearance.
