Kids kick up heels for fundraiser

CHAMPAIGN -- It was something straight out of the roaring 20's. Champaign Centennial teachers and students cutting a rug and hosting a dance marathon. It's the first high school in the state to host one of these. They were kickin' it up all for a good cause; the Children's Miracle Network.

At least six families with children who were patients at St. John's Hospital, in Springfield, were on-hand to tell their stories. Kind of an eye-opening experience. Last year, over $10,000 was raised. This year, organizers hoped to raise even more.
