SPRINGFIELD -- It could be next month before state lawmakers find out whether or not they'll be paid. A group of lawmakers is suing the state claiming the governor's move to eliminate their pay is unconstitutional.

Quinn did it to move the ball forward on pension reform. The case had its first hearing in court Tuesday. The judge set a September 18 hearing for arguments in the case.
