DECATUR -- City leaders want residents to cut back on water usage. Levels in Lake Decatur are 12-inches lower than normal.

The rain predicted for later in the week isn't expected to be enough to increase levels, so people who get their water from Lake Decatur are being asked to conserve.

So, you're asked to turn off the faucet while brushing your teeth or shaving; replace baths with short showers; install water-efficient fixtures; repair leaky faucets, pipes or toilets.
