ILLINOIS -- The IDNR limiting the amount of deer licenses won't have much of an impact on Central Illinois' hunters. That's what one hunting organization believes.

Late-winter hunting will not be allowed in 20 more counties this season. Champaign County was already cut from the late winter list. 100 permits were also taken away.

In Vermilion County, hunters can still hunt during late winter but 125 permits were cut. A board member from the Illinois Whitetail Alliance says the amount of permits taken away are only about half of the unwanted tags last year.
