SPRINGFIELD -- Wednesday would have been President Lincoln's 205th birthday. There were plenty of celebrations to mark the occasion.

At the Old State Capitol, the Postal Service unveiled a new stamp in his honor. It features the Lincoln memorial; an image especially picked by the U.S. Post Office.

Also, in honor of his birthday, a wreath was laid at Lincoln's Tomb. Birthday cake was given away to visitor's at the Lincoln Log Cabin.

There's also a Civil War-style ball in Vandalia Wednesday night.
