CHAMPAIGN -- A county-wide recycling event had traffic backed up on Bradley Avenue, Saturday. Hundreds of people waited in line to drop off electronics; anything from televisions to computer parts and even Christmas lights.

Organizers say recycling these items has picked up. The event started at 8 am, but people got in line an hour and a half early. The electronics will be taken to Charleston and recycled. Organizers say they had about 150 cars per hour.
