CHAMPAIGN -- It's not too early to get into the holiday spirit. Volunteers with the Champaign Center Partnership started decorating downtown Monday. They hung garland, ribbon and lights.

It's all to get ready for the Annual Parade of Lights at the end of November. Volunteers say the festive feel isn't just about one night.

The decorating is just getting started and the group says it can use more volunteers. They need help with pre-parade entertainment, float checking, traffic control, hot chocolate workers and more.
