PEORIA -- Homeowners are in the middle of a massive cleanup. A month ago, storms caused the Illinois River to flood its banks. The water has finally receded, but that's only the beginning.

People are now trying to salvage what's left of their homes. Some had more than a foot of standing water inside.

Homeowners are now working through insurance. Many still aren't sure if they will get any federal money to help in the recovery.
