URBANA -- A former worker at Cunningham Children's Home faces charges of sexual assault. 31-year old Jason Williams is accused of forcing himself on a 14-year old female resident.

Williams was a residential leader at the home. The victim told police she would run away and Williams would pick her up and take her to motels in the area.

The assault came to light after another worker discovered the two texting and calling one another. Williams no longer works at the home.

Managers at the home say their priority has always been making sure the kids are safe and this incident doesn't change that.

URBANA -- A Champaign man was arraigned on four counts of criminal sexual assault after an investigation. Police say 31-year old Jason Williams, who was a residential shift leader at Cunningham Children's Home, victimized a resident.

Authorities say the victim told them the assaults had been occurring since she was 14-years old. Her current age was not released.

The victim told investigators she would run away from the facility and Williams would pick her up and take her to area motels where he assaulted her. The crime was discovered when phone and text contact was discovered between the victim and Williams.

His bond is set at $250,000. He's due back in court later this month.
