Man arrested for armed bank robbery

SANGAMON COUNTY -- Police arrested a Virden man for armed bank robbery. 33-year old Shawn Graves is charged in connected to Monday's hold up at the Warren-Boyton State Bank in New Berlin. He was taken into custody at his home Wednesday by Springfield Police detectives and FBI agents.

NEW BERLIN -- Authorities are investigating a bank robbery. It happened at the Warren-Boynton State Bank Monday morning.

The suspect wore a mask, showed a gun and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was wearing a gray hoodie and light-colored jeans. Police say he may have been driving an early 2000's model, black pick-up truck with no front bumper.
