URBANA -- Hundreds of families marched to raise money for little ones in need. Charity Shofner walked for her premature daughter, Sydney, who was born at 27 weeks. She received medicine which saved her life, thanks, in part, to March of Dimes.
Money raised from the event goes to research and development of medicine. It was a busy day for March of Dimes. There were four other walks in different parts of Illinois Sunday.
CHAMPAIGN COUNTY -- Half a million babies are born too early each year. Many struggle to survive. Josh and Charity Shofner know all about that struggle. They, along with Charlotte Miles from the March of Dimes, join us.
