ST. JOSEPH -- A new doctor's office could be coming to town. In March, it was announced Presence Medical Group was closing its practice in the village and the only doctor in town was leaving.

But, Mayor B.J. Hackler says he's been talking with Christie Clinic about bringing a clinic to the area. Hackler says talks are in the beginning stages, but everyone seems interested in the deal.

Presence closes its office June 20. Hackler hopes to have something worked out with Christie by then.
