CHICAGO -- Police have now found a University of Illinois student who went missing Saturday. Hye Min Choi, 19, was reunited with his family.
The electrical engineering student, who also goes by Joseph, checked out of his UI dorm and caught a shuttle to O'Hare Airport Saturday. He checked his bags, but never boarded his flight to Greensboro, North Carolina.
His mother had been waiting for him and called police when he didn't show up. Sources say Choi may have been upset about his final exams, but police would not confirm that. Police say he's safe and with his family.

The luggage arrived, but Choi didn't. His mother flew to Chicago and has been reviewing surveillance videotapes with police. Choi is a junior majoring in mechanical engineering.
CHICAGO -- Police say a UIUC student who went missing is not in danger. Authorities now say 19-yera old Hye Min Choi chose to run away and they are close to finding him.
The search started after the student's mother waited for his scheduled flight to come into North Carolina Saturday. His luggage arrived, but Choi did not. He checked the bags Saturday afternoon at O'Hare, but hadn't been seen since.
Police say they do not suspect any criminal activity in the case.

University of Illinois Police say they've not been given more information about the missing student. Hye Min Choi, 19, who also goes by Joseph, was scheduled for a flight to North Carolina Saturday. Police say he checked-in his luggage just after 3 pm that day, but he did not board the United Airlines flight.
His mother retrieved his luggage in North Carolina. Police say Choi did not rebook a flight with the airline. Police are asking for the public's help finding him.
He's 5'6", about 100 lbs., with brown eyes, black hair and a medium complexion. He also has a scar on his right eyelid. Anyone with information is asked to contact Area North detectives in Chicago at (312) 744 - 8266.
